Larder Lake does not permit gas powered motors , this ensures that the lake remains quiet and a true nature lovers paradise. Fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating and paddle boarding are some of the many activities seen on the lake during the warmer weather. In the winter you can lace up your skates or go snow shoeing on our trails.
Kwyet waters is tucked away on the outskirts of the beautiful Village of Chester. Chester is only 8kms away and is known for sailing and magnificent gardens. Enjoy walks on the beautiful harbour front and sight see the many mansions and estates found there. You can also plan a day trip on the ferry to Tancook Island.
Mahone Bay - 28kms away. Voted as one of the best Small Town destinations in Canada. It offers lots of small quaint shops, art galleries and Restaurants.
The home of The Bluenose, Lunenburg is just a short drive (40kms). While in Lunenburg you can go whale watching, deep sea fishing, sailing, and just enjoy walking the streets looking at the brightly painted historic buildings and historic architecture.
